They are brave, hard-working heroes, most of whom would never accept that title. When we went to Colorado in June, there were so many who worked tirelessly to save lives, homes, and pets. They took it personally whenever the fire made any advancement. We have been spared evacuation ourselves several times because of the knowledge and skill of these fine people. I have friends with grown kids who do this kind of work, and it keeps them on their knees.
Thank You, Lord, for these wonderful people.
