Day 298

I am grateful for shortbread.

Having adopted the Paleo diet for the last three months in an attempt to drop meds for high BP and high cholesterol, my new doctor suggested this diet, and it's been great overall. The one goodie that seems to satisfy my sweet tooth is shortbread. I was bummed when I thought I'd have to forego that, but then I found a Paleo recipe for it, and I was on top o'the world! Yay! Hurrah! Hip, hip and all that!

Thank You, Lord, for sweet splurges.
