I'm as impatient as the next girl, so if I don't have to stop at a stop sign, I'd rather not. I don't mind yielding, slowing down and then getting to keep going. It's the best California stop ever.
A friend of mine finds them confusing, which I find puzzling, as she's extremely intelligent. She said no one can figure out who gets to go, but if you know how to yield, you know who gets to go. Simple and easy. My kind of traffic.
