I am grateful for tadpoles.
Frogs are a wonder as they are, so gnarly, roguish, and bold in appearance. Morphing from egg to adult, they change quickly and noticeably, and they were always a favorite science project.
They seem a tiny cousin of the platypus with their awkward parts. I see them as busy little aberrations, completely unaware of the changes they're undergoing--or the interest they produce.
Thank You, Lord, for these funny little creatures.
