Day 259

I am grateful for remotes.

When I was kid, I was the remote. Turn it up. Turn it down. Change the channel. Change it again. And again. Of course, my parents weren't mean about it, but as a kid, it was part of the deal if we were going to watch TV. I know it's a first world luxury that's pretty much taken for granted now, but it really has come a world away from how it once was. Now there are a hundred different things a remote can do. I don't watch that much TV, but when I do, it sure makes it easy. Hats off to whoever invented it!

Thank You, Lord, for this most pleasant luxury.
