Day 163

I am grateful for herbs.

I know that's a LARGE category, and I have my favorites, but I enjoy nearly all of them. I enjoy growing them even more. The perennials are always great, but I don't mind buying fragrant little basil plants every spring to add among their perennial cousins. While I use them mainly for cooking, they make beautiful wreaths that can be hung in the kitchen. Simply pluck off whatever you need, and add it to your dish. Simple and beautiful.
