It is a marvelous fruit of the Spirit, and it is a pure pleasure whenever I see it displayed. It melts my heart to see a daddy with his tiny newborn, all cradling and protecting. Animals have been known to show meekness--strength under control--like this dog toward the itty bitty kitty. "A gentle answer turns away wrath," (Proverbs 15:1). A word gently spoken can mean someone caring that you know and knowing that you care. I want to be that for someone.
Thank You, Lord, for your ever-gentleness toward me.
