Day 180

I am grateful for herbicides.

We are bombarded with knapweed from every direction. One neighbor sprays and tries to control his, but the neighbor on the other side doesn't. Doesn't appear to anyway. Bugga. We're also afflicted with houndstongue, St. John's wort, dalmation toadflax, mullen, and some thistle. Kev tackles it with a friend's tractor and sprayer, purchasing the herbicide from him at the same time. I spot spray when I can, but it's a battle. I'm thankful for something that works to kill these wicked plants because, a) they're harmful to horses and cattle, and b) we can get fined b the weed board for not controlling them. Bring on that beautiful, green grass!

Thank You, Lord, for herbicides that work.
